Key Responsibilities
1.Strategic Planning & Execution
• Translate organizational strategy into actionable project roadmaps across international markets.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
2. Project Management Oversight
• Lead full lifecycle delivery—from planning and initiation through execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Mentor and guide project managers and international teams, ensuring consistency with PMO standards and methodologies (e.g., PMI, Agile, PRINCE2).
3. Resource & Budget Management
• Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial tracking.
• Optimize allocation of human, technical, and material resources globally; manage cost variances and ensure financial accountability.
4. Risk & Quality Assurance
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; implement solid change control mechanisms.
• Enforce quality assurance and control processes in accordance with global standards and regulations.
5. Stakeholder Management & Reporting
• Serve as the point of contact for executive sponsors, business units, external vendors, regulators, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare and present status updates, dashboards, and executive reports to senior leadership.6. Process Improvement & Governance
• Identify process gaps and drive continuous improvement initiatives, standardizing project artefacts and workflows globally
• Champion adoption of best practices across the PMO and ensure consistent governance frameworks.
7. Team Leadership & Development
• Build a high-performing team by mentoring project staff, providing feedback, and supporting career development plans.
• Lead recruitment efforts and performance evaluations for project leadership roles.
8. Compliance & Safety
• Ensure adherence to international/local regulations, environmental/safety standards, and corporate compliance protocols.
• Drive statutory approvals and manage licenses across host countries or jurisdictions as needed.
