Role Summary The Brand Marketing Specialist is responsible for leading the end-to-end (vertical) brand strategy and integrated marketing campaigns for a specific sports category in the Korean market. The main goal is to own the category's growth, increase brand awareness, acquire new customers, and connect commercial opportunities to related business teams. Mission We are currently recruiting a Brand Marketing specialist to support our business transformation and establish our brand as the leader in the sports market. Your responsibilities will include: - Marketing Strategy & Execution :Planning the short to long term marketing strategy & execution plan for our existing and potential customers. Work closely with local & country sports related teams to be aligned with Decathlon business strategy. - Key Sports Campaign Plan & Execution : Oversee the entire process of planning, developing, and executing impactful key sports campaigns for the Korean market. Design and manage integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels (digital, social, events, on/off retail, WS, marketplace etc.) with the goal of increasing brand awareness, acquiring new customers, and driving sales. With consumer insight & market research, understanding consumers needs to drive all marketing strategy and execution. By leveraging research insights, collaborate closely with internal related teams to develop and execute strategies that are perfectly tailored to the market. - Digital marketing : Lead the digital marketing strategy, focusing on content creation, to drive brand and business growth. Planning and managing content calendars in line with key product launches and commercial events. Development of compelling storytelling for the brand, products, and influencers, and the creation of content strategies for both CRM and social media to attract and retain consumers. Close collaboration with the e-commerce team is essential to meet business goals and deliver an optimal digital brand experience. - Community event & partnership building : Build and maintain strong relationships with local communities. Develop and execute community programs that continuously increase retail traffic and strengthen customer relationships, ultimately boosting brand preference. Identify, acquire, and manage partnerships with relevant sports events, organizations, teams, and athletes to meet our business and brand needs. - Influencer marketing, PR & brand event activation : Influencer marketing aspect involves developing and executing strategies to amplify the brand's voice including building strong relationships with influencers and related agencies and overseeing all activations, from content creation to performance analysis, to ensure alignment with the brand's voice and aesthetic. Driving the creation of press materials and media previews while partnering with editors and PR agencies to ensure timely, consistent execution. Concept, plan, and execute culturally relevant events and brand activations, such as media previews and store openings. Managing guest lists and coordinating with internal and external teams to ensure elevated creative execution, tracking success through media coverage, social amplification, and guest engagement. - Budget planning & tracking : Strategic planning and efficient management of the marketing budget. By prioritizing marketing initiatives, ensuring that the budget is allocated effectively to maximize its accuracy and impact, while also minimizing the gap between planned and actual spending.
Skills Needed for the Role - Comprehensive Understanding of the Global Business Model: retail stores, online platforms, merchandising & marketing - Proven Team Player: Demonstrated experience in communication with all crossed functional teams. - Service minded, co-operative, must be a team player with excellent organization and co-ordination skills. - Passion for Sports and Retail: A genuine passion for sports combined with a deep understanding of retail activities. Looking for - Excellent speaking, presentation and writing in English - Excellent PPT & Excel skills - Availability for field trips to visit stores & local/global business trip - Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse team - Good leadership, project management & problem solving skills - At least 4~6 years of working experience in marketing communication, digital marketing within global/local sports or outdoor industry Experiences is plus - Preferred degree holders in marketing, business or relevant categories - Experience in running 360-degree integrated marketing campaigns for a specific product line or sports category - Experience in the global outdoor or running sports industry prepared
