• To be fully aware of all events and activities within Food & Beverage & hotel on a day to day basis.
• To provide a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times following the
Operational Standards of Hyatt Place Melbourne Caribbean Park.
▪ To be responsible for an assigned section within the Restaurant or event area.
▪ To seat, present menus, take orders, serve food and beverage to guests according to the
established sequence and procedures.
▪ To set up, clear and reset designated work areas.
▪ To perform opening and closing procedures established for the place of work assigned.
▪ To have a thorough understanding and knowledge of all food and beverage items on the menu and
ability to recommend food and beverage combinations and up-sell alternatives.
▪ To ensure that the place of work and surrounding area is kept clean and organised at all times.
▪ To report lost and found items.
▪ To handle guest enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner and report guest complaints or
problems to supervisors if no immediate solution can be found and assure follow up with guests.
• To deliver the brand promise and provide exceptional guest service at all times.
• To keep a positive and professional relationship between all departments across the Hotel and Food
& Beverage.
